Above: Attended a 1940’s re-enactment day at Bottisham, a village near Cambridge in the UK. Good day out and I managed to get some decent (at least in my opinion) people images. All were taken with the Leica SL2 and 24-90mm SL Vario-Elmarit lens.

Taken in Durban, South Africa with the Nikon D810 and 50mm Nikkor f1.4 lens. We were walking along the pier when this guy approached me and I thought here goes the camera, lens, money and watch. However, thankfully he just said, “why don’t you take a picture of me”. Needless to say I clicked away and he was happy to see the images on the camera screen.
Strangely enough we were mugged about an hour later when we were waiting to cross the road at a set of traffic lights; but that’s another story and I still have the camera and lens.
